Kit consisting of LS-4, reference leak 5 grams/year + 800 gram can of R410A + tap valve - for periodical check of electronic leak detectors
Do you need to buy large quantities?
The LS-4 calibrated leak provides a useful reference, thanks to which the refrigeration technician can periodically check the correct sensitivity of his electronic leak detector, both heated diode and infrared, either in the laboratory or directly on site.
This periodic check makes it possible to quickly identify anomalies in the battery or the leak detector sensor, which could jeopardise the correct operation of the instrument.
When connected to the outlet valve of an R410A cylinder, the calibrated LS-4 leak detector produces a controlled flow corresponding to 5 grams/year. If the instrument is able to detect this leakage, the calibrated LS-4 leakage will be proof that the leak detector is functioning correctly, and therefore complies with the requirements of European F-Gas Regulation 517/2014 (EN-14624).
The LS-4 calibrated leak detector consists of a sintered stainless steel element housed in a stainless steel body and a 1/4" SAE brass outlet connector for easy and safe connection to the 1.1-litre GeneralGas KryoSmart canister containing refrigerant gas R410A.LS-4 is a "source" for a reference leak corresponding to a value of 5 grams/year.
It is an easy and safe way to check the functionality of your leak detectors. The LS-4 is an excellent tool for ensuring the proper functioning of your leak detector between annual maintenance checks in accordance with EN 14624.
The compact size and ease of use make LS-4 a practical and safe accessory for your refrigerant leak detector.
SUITABLE FOR: refrigeration technicians, refrigeration technicians, installers, maintenance personnel, quality control personnel
METHOD OF USE: Bring the probe of the electronic leak detector close to the calibrated leak output to check the calibration and correct functioning of your leak detection instrument, using a reference flow rate of 5g/year
ADVANTAGES:
Easy to use
Virtually infinite lifetime (connects to a 1.1 litre/800 gram GeneralGas KryoSmart cylinder
Verifies leak detector operation as required by EN14624 (annual F-gas instrument calibration report)
Small and compact; easily stows in the case supplied with electronic leak detectors
SPECIFICATIONS:
reference leak for leak detector/ refrigerant gas leak detectors
leak rate 5 grams/year, in accordance with F-Gas regulation 517/2014
connects to the standard refrigerant gas valve, with standard 1/4" SAE right-hand connection
allows the controls required by F-Gas to be fulfilled
allows you to regularly check the proper functioning of your electronic leak detectors
