KryonSpy HVACR is the leak detector series for HVACR systems for different applications:

  • KryonSpy POE HVACR is the Yellow coloured tracer developed for all systems that use POE lubricants.

It is the most effective method for highlighting leaks in a system. KryonSpy dissolves in the compressor lubricant and circulates throughout the system with the gas. If there is a leak, it too is drawn outwards, allowing it to be easily detected.

It responds to ultraviolet light with an intense fluorescent yellow. The use dilution of 1 ml for every 60 ml of compressor lubricant. Can be inserted manually, in the recuperator or via a bypass. It can be used in the preventive phase, or in the search phase if a leak is suspected. It does not alter the functionality of the system and remains in circulation after use for future research. A moderate excess of the product does not alter functionality.

Always consult the product safety data sheet before use and wear protective clothing.

Instructions for use:

Insert KryonSpy into the coolant circuit from the low pressure valve directly or by fitting a Bypass. Or directly into the oil recuperator. Put the system into operation and let it work from 5 minutes to several hours. It depends on the length and size of the pipes. Illuminate the line and exchangers with a UV lamp. Any leaks will be marked by fluorescent leaks.

Repair and remove the product to avoid future false positives.
